My name is Ruth, but most of my students know me as Ruthie. I like to say it’s my artistic teaching name. I teach English, Spanish, and Portuguese as second languages, and my main focus is helping students let go of the fear, self-doubt, and judgment that often come with speaking another language. That’s why speaking and communication begin from the very first class, working through fears and mental blocks so students can find their own style, expressions, and identity in the target language, discovering who they are when they speak it.

For years, I have also focused heavily on Business English and Portuguese for business and travel.

What I love most about teaching is seeing students break through personal barriers in the target language and realize what they are truly capable of when they trust themselves. I also love the opportunity teaching gives me to connect with and truly get to know so many different personalities, cultures, and backgrounds. Whenever I hear a “thank you” from a student, my heart feels full. I love seeing students surprise themselves with their own progress.

I love working with R School. This school is not only something I created, but also a dream I’ve had for over five years. I want to provide not only for my students, but also for my team. I’m grateful to be part of a community where honesty and support are present every day.

I am María, a Colombian teacher of Spanish, French, English, and Portuguese, mainly specialized in Spanish and French for business, travel, migration, and intercultural communication. I work with students of different levels and international backgrounds. What I enjoy most about teaching is supporting my students’ growth and confidence as they discover new cultures and achieve personal or professional goals through language learning. I like to create dynamic, human-centered classes tailored to each person’s real needs.

Being part of R School has been a very positive experience, as I share its modern and international vision of education. Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, practicing yoga, reading, and creating content related to culture and experiences around the world.

Hello, my name is Maya. I've been an English teacher for over 16 years, certified by ACBEU language school, an institution recognized and certified by the U.S. Embassy in Brazil. I lived abroad for 28 years: in England (London) for 1 year, in the United States (New York) for 26 years, and in Florida for 1 year. I am both an American and Brazilian citizen. I teach English and Portuguese.

I prefer students interested in everyday conversation or business English. I want my students to have the pleasure of speaking with confidence, thinking in English instead of thinking in Portuguese to speak, and understanding everything Americans say, even when they speak fast and use local slang.

I teach English without interference from textbooks or the same old methods. Why? Because when we learn to speak, we don't start by reading books, we start speaking through association, seeing, listening, understanding, and repeating. It's that simple. Once we're already speaking our native language fluently, we go to school and learn grammar with its known rules.

Helping my students feel satisfied speaking English without stress or insecurity is what I love most about teaching. Speaking and communicating with confidence. I feel happy for the student and fulfilled as a teacher when students recognize they are improving in the language.

I think I was selected for being flexible, attentive to my students, and a great teacher when it comes to correcting pronunciation, listening, and fluency mistakes. I am Isabela Diculescu and my nickname is Iisa

I teach both English and Spanish to students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I help students prepare for exams, improve their daily and conversational English, and feel more confident while traveling or communicating in professional settings. I also specialize in Business English, helping students develop the language skills they need for work and international communication.

What I love most about teaching is connecting with people from different backgrounds and helping them reach their personal goals. Seeing students grow in confidence and achieve things they once thought were difficult is incredibly rewarding for me.

It makes me feel proud, happy, and motivated when students recognize their own improvement in the target language. Watching them become more confident, expressive, and comfortable communicating is one of the most fulfilling parts of being a teacher.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, going to the beach, surfing, traveling, and crocheting. I also love learning new languages, and I’m currently learning Italian myself, which helps me better understand the experience of being a language student.

My name is Erick Matias Silva Vasconcelos, and I currently do not have any nickname. However, when I lived in Mexico, my friends affectionately called me Vasco, which was funny because it is also the name of a famous football club in Brazil.

I teach Portuguese and Spanish and help students achieve advanced levels in both languages. My main focus is usually on travel and business, but I also have extensive experience preparing students for official proficiency exams, such as the SIELE and DELE for Spanish, and the Celpe-Bras for Portuguese.

I truly identify with this field because I love meeting new people and helping them with what they need. I take great pleasure in sharing the knowledge I have. What I love most is seeing my students grow and improve, knowing that what they are learning will genuinely have a positive and transformative impact on their lives.

I feel extremely happy and fulfilled when students recognize their progress. I strongly believe that, with the right methodology, everyone is capable of learning. When I see a student achieving an important goal, such as getting a career promotion or fulfilling a dream trip, I feel that I have accomplished my mission.

I believe I bring a special “Brazilian flavor” to the team, full of enthusiasm, excitement, and a vibrant passion for connecting people and uniting cultures through Portuguese and Spanish. I think I was selected because of this energy. In everyday life, the qualities people most recognize in me are my sincerity, my spontaneity in both speaking and living, and, above all, the fact that I am a good listener.

I love gaming, running, and I am always open to learning new things, discovering interesting facts, and gaining new knowledge. In addition, one of my favorite hobbies is spending time with people, going out with my friends and family to talk, preferably at the beach or by a lagoon, places where I can disconnect a little from the world and relax.

My name is Maria Cecilia Gatti, but everybody calls me "Ceci" or "Chechu."

I teach all levels of English and Argentine Spanish. I focus mainly on students who want to communicate in everyday situations. Also, I prepare students for international exams.

Teaching a diverse group is incredibly rewarding because of the unique energy each student brings to our classes. Every lesson is different, offering fresh challenges that keep me on my toes. It’s a constant exchange of ideas; I’m always learning from my students while I teach them.

I find so much joy in watching my students' progress. It's incredibly satisfying to see them realize just how far they’ve come.
